It is a must to visit the Springfield Quadrangle Library and Museums! Schedule at least a whole day and pack a lunch to get lost in all the nooks & cranny's of the sights to see :)

The Creator of "The Simpson's"- Matt Groening- is rumored to have lived in West Springfield for many years, and hence his famous 3 headed fish cartoon that was caught near Bondi's Island!

Famous Jazz Musician, Taj Mahal grew up in Springfield!

Basketball was invented right here

Ice Skating was invented right here

The very first Automobile was invented right here near the corner of Main & State Streets, by the Duryea Brothers! (Unfortunately there is no monument or museum to show their hard earned invention of the steam powered engine off)

The Springfield Armory has open tours & soon I hope to have a schedule up and photos

Every Thursday Afternoon from 4- 10 at night: It Is Motorcycle City! Live Music & plenty of food and entertainment on near Stern's Square & Worthington Street. It is worth the trip just to catch a glimpse of some of the coolest Motorcycles on the East Coast as they set them up for display and OOoooo's & Aaaaaahhhhh's!
